In recent years diseases like alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and atherosclerosis have made plenty of headlines. These ailments are on the rise, especially as the baby boomers reach retirement age. While there have been advancements in pharmaceuticals that treat the symptoms of these diseases, until recently there has been very little research into the cause.

That’s right, cause, not causes

Research currently underway, both in europe and the us, show that a condition known as chronic inflammation may be the root cause of these conditions, along with many others including:

  • Multiple forms of arthritis
  •  Stomach cancer
  • Asthma
  • Allergies
  • Colon cancer
  • Multiple sclerosis

What is Inflammation?

There are two distinct types of inflammation:
Acute inflammation is your body’s natural response to injury or infection. The swelling, heat, and redness around a splinter or paper cut are great examples of acute inflammation doing its job, your body’s immune system responding to a foreign invader, fending off disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and parasite. The heat and white blood cells lay waste to these attackers, as well as destroying any tissues that may be infected.

Chronic inflammation occurs when this immune response doesn’t shut down on cue, once the invaders have been destroyed. Instead, our bodies turn on themselves, with after effects that seem to cause a wide variety of other problems and conditions. This concept is so intriguing because it suggests a new and possibly much simpler way of warding off disease. Instead of different treatments for, say, heart disease, alzheimer’s and colon cancer, there might be a single, inflammation-reducing remedy that would prevent all three.

The Natural Approach to Fighting Inflammation

Taking a natural approach to reducing chronic inflammation is probably the safest.

For hundreds of years emu oil has been used historically by the australian aborigines for the treatment of burns, wounds, bruises, and as a pain reliever for bone, muscle, and joint disorders.

Emu oil appears to be one of the newly re-discovered secrets from the ancient world. A 2003 study was done at the forsyth institute in boston, massachusetts, usa, on emu oil and its reported anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that emu oil contributes to a reduction in:
  • Inflammation
  • Joint pain
  • Stiffness
  • Bruising
  • Muscle pain
"I was surprised to find how quickly Blue Spring Emu Oil absorbs into the skin. It makes my skin feel soft. I have also found it helpful in healing wounds. "

Emu Oil - A Rich Source Of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)

EFAS are an integral part of the daily allowance of nutrients we need but EFAS can’t be manufactured by the body. Instead, they must be ingested as a part of our daily diet. Emu oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6. With these two EFAS, the body can produce the other EFAS it needs.

According to the linus pauling institute at Oregon State University, a large body of scientifiresearch suggests that higher dietary omega-3 fatty acid intakes are associated with:
  • Reductions in cardiovascular disease risk
  • Decreasing the risk of myocardial infarction (heart attack)
  • Decreasing joint tenderness

Emu Oil - A Great Source of Anti-Oxidants

Emu oil naturally contains two of the most powerful anti-oxidants, vitamins a & e. These two anti-oxidants fight free radicals which damage the skin and contribute to aging and wrinkles. When used as a topical, emu oil delivers anti-oxidants vitamins a and e directly to the skin where it penetrates and contributes to healthy skin.

And it doesn’t stop there! Emu oil also contains:

  • Linoleic acid, which helps to ease muscle aches and joint pain
  • Oleic acid, a proven skin cell regenerator and anti-wrinkle agent
  • Sapogens, proven skin softeners
  • Terpines, known antiseptics
"I have been using Pure Emu Oil for several years. Blue Spring has the highest quality oil I have ever used. The delicate nature of this oil is fantastic for any skin type. I use it on my entire body, especially on my face at night. "

Emu Oil - The Best Natural Moisturizer for Your Skin

Like our skin, emu oil contains no phospholipids. When you use a moisturizer that does contain phospholipids, your skin rejects them. Part of the moisturizer is never absorbed. Emu oil quickly and easily absorbs through all of the layers of your skin, hydrating even the deepest layers. Over time, it can even help thicken your skin, making it smoother, softer, and suppler. But it does much more than just moisturize and soften the skin; emu oil can also improve the appearance of:

  • Scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Damaged skin after injury
  • Burns
  • Sun damage
  • Damaged skin from acne
  • Wrinkles
  • Damaged skin from pregnancy
  • Damaged skin after surgery
"Treat yourself with the best nature has to offer. Emu oil is the 100% natural way to pamper your skin while avoiding any trace of chemicals or harmful additives. You can throw out any other moisturizer or beauty cream in your cabinets. This is ALL you need, and it’s amazing! My skin thanks me every time I look in the mirror. Wrinkles so noticeably lessened with ONE use I could hardly believe it! And softness/smoothness? Unbelievable. And I’m in the “over 50” crowd! Did I tell you how my feet love it? No more dry callouses or flakey skin. It’s almost like stealing skin from a 20-yr-old! What are you waiting for? Try this! "
