Description

What is Pure Prime Emu Oil?

Emu oil has been described as magical, and it is not hard to see why when it comes from a bird that has somehow managed to stay in existence since pre-historic times. Native to the Australian outback, emus have long been prized by the Aborigines who use it to heal everything from minor wounds to common skin conditions, such as sunburns. Now, research is beginning to back up the claims of magic with actual science that demonstrates the effectiveness of Pure Prime Emu Oil for treating modern health problems. In fact, world-renowned researcher, Dr. Barry Sears, has claimed, “Emu oil is an untapped resource and currently is now where aspirin was in the early 1900s.”

At Emu Therapy, our selection process is unique within the wellness industry and it is important to note that even the American Emu Association does not have regulations in place to achieve the high standards that Emu Therapy guarantees when you order natural skin care products from us. Our process begins with the feed supply and ends with an independent analysis that is compared to one done by a third party to make sure that all growers comply with our standards for purity. This process is important because Pure Prime Emu Oil works better than other types of skin care products due to the fact that it does not contain any phospholipids, unlike many over the counter lotions that do and inhibit absorption into the skin.

With more people in retirement age than ever before, the news has been full of medical reports concerning chronic illnesses such as arthritis, allergies, and multiple sclerosis. In the past, it was believed that these types of conditions had multiple causes that could not be controlled. Now, however, it is understood that the primary underlying cause for chronic illness is inflammation, and Pure Prime Emu Oil is Mother Nature’s anti-inflammatory! To ease inflammation, emu oil can be used internally or externally, which provides a versatile option to begin healing your body from the inside out.

Emu oil is being rediscovered as one of the best natural body care products because of its simplicity. No other treatment can heal wounds, soothe a sunburn and decrease wrinkles while also being perfect for other ailments, such as joint pain. Pure Prime Emu Oil can do all this and more because it contains antioxidants and additional properties that stimulate healing at every level. In addition to vitamins A and E, every bottle of Pure Prime Emu Oil also contains terpenes that are known antiseptics and saponins, which are skin softeners and make it so safe that it can even be used to soothe newborn skin.

Today, science is finally able to back up the knowledge that conventional practitioners of natural medicine has known for years. Emu oil is one of the most gentle, non-toxic skin care products that can be used by everyone to soothe inflammation while providing nourishment to the body that stimulates better overall wellness.

Where Does Emu Oil Come From?

History

Australian Aborigine settlers began living in what is now Australia over forty thousand years ago. The Aborigines have used the Emu bird for thousands of years as a source of food, clothing, jewelry and even the oil as a natural remedy. They used Emu Oil to gain relief from minor aches and pains, to help heal wounds quicker, and protect their skin from the harsh elements of wind and sun. The Aborigines collected the oil as a natural sun-screen and skin moisturizer. The use of Emu Oil was among many natural remedies adopted by settlers from the original inhabitants of Australia. Use of Emu Oil was most prevalent in country areas where it was applied in the treatment of bruised and subcutaneous tissue, burns and dry skin problems.

Emu Oil contains Essential Fatty Acids (EFA), which are necessary fats that humans need but cannot produce. When Emu Oil is ingested we absorb can absorb the benefits.

Ingredient Components

Essential Fatty Acids (EFA)

Emu Oil consist of three Essential Fatty Acids. Essential Fatty Acids are necessary fats that humans cannot produce, and must be obtained through diet. EFAs are long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids derived from linolenic, linoleic, and oleic acids. There are two families of EFAs: Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9. EFAs support the cardiovascular, reproductive, immune, and nervous systems. The human body needs EFAs to manufacture and repair cell membranes, enabling the cells to obtain optimum nutrition and expel harmful waste products. One major function of EFAs is the production of prostaglandins, which regulate body functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood clotting, and play a role in immune function by regulating inflammation and encouraging the body to fight infection. Essential Fatty Acids are also needed for proper growth in children, particularly for neural development and maturation of sensory systems, with male children having higher needs than females. Fetuses and breast-fed infants also require an adequate supply of EFAs through the mother's dietary intake.

Vitamin E is added at less than 0.1% as a natural preservative.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant, protects cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. The mechanisms by which vitamin E might provide this protection include its function as an antioxidant and its roles in anti-inflammatory processes, inhibition of platelet aggregation, and immune enhancement. Vitamin E is also important in the formation of red blood cells and it helps the body to use Vitamin K. Vitamin E is added to Pure Prime Emu Oil to help preserve the freshness and maintain the quality of emu oil.

When did you change the labels for Pure Prime Emu Oil?

We changed the emu oil label in October 2022, shortly after Emu Therapy took on ownership of the Blue Stuff and BLUESPRING brands and products. When we made the change, we addressed the concerns from customers to let them know it was the same product from the same source with the same processes in place to ensure quality and consistency of performance.

Is Pure Prime Emu Oil still the same as it was with the BLUESPRING label? Is it still “Prime”?

The label still states the name as Pure Prime Emu Oil, just like it had been for years with Blue Spring International. The product name hasn’t changed. The oil hasn’t changed. Our supplier hasn’t changed. Only the label changed. Pure Prime Emu Oil is the same product from the same source with the same processes in place to ensure quality and consistency of performance.

Why did you change the labels for Pure Prime Emu Oil?

When Emu Therapy took on ownership of the Blue Stuff and BLUESPRING brands, we made the decision to apply our own branding to the Pure Prime Emu Oil products right away as a product clearly connected to the new company name (“Emu” being in both). Other products will have their labeling updated as time goes on, and they will be clearly assigned to the Blue Stuff, BLUESPRING, Emu Therapy, or Argan Therapy brands.

Why did you make the changes you did to the labels for Pure Prime Emu Oil?

When we redesigned the Pure Prime Emu Oil labels, we intentionally kept many of the same elements to evoke the same look of the label Blue Spring International had used for years: the foil at the top, the dark line wave below the foil, and even the small wavy line at the bottom of the label just above the statement of size. Yes, the color of the labels changed, but because “Blue” isn’t anywhere in the name of Pure Prime Emu Oil, we felt it made sense to shift that color scheme away from blue and we selected green, which comes from the Emu Therapy logo.
